Who am I?
Well, I’m Deirdre, I’m moving from 40 odd to rather late 40s. I’m definitely middle-age and definitely odd. I’m separated and no longer have any cats, but I’m waiting on fate to intervene on that. I’m living on the outskirts of Dublin, Ireland and I work full-time but luckily not full time in the city centre office.
When I’m not working I’m either on the computer or watching telly, although I do try to fit in a hobby or two. I love to crochet & cross-stitch, however I’m a slow finisher. Speaking of slow, I also like to read but tend to max out at a book a month, read mainly on the bus into work.
What am I doing?
There are times when the world weighs a little too heavy and we all need a little bit of perking up so this is my happy corner of the internet. I plan to fill it will things that made me smile, random linkage via the more web-savvy and random musings.
I’ve recently decided to make this not just my happy corner – but my actual corner. Content that would end up on BlueSky, FB, Instagram and Twitter will end up here. If I am really on my game – I might even remember to post the stuff.
Hopefully you’ll find at least one thing to make you smile!
